Am Sonntag fanden in London die diesjährigen BAFTA Awards statt, zu denen nicht nur zahlreiche Hollywoodstars erschienen, sondern auch Prinz William (35) und Herzogin Catherine (36). „Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri“, welcher schon bei den Golden Globes als Sieger hervorging, konnte auch bei den BAFTAS die meisten Awards mit nach Hause nehmen. So erhielt der Film unter anderem als Bester Film und für das beste Originaldrehbuch einen BAFTA Award. Doch auch Hauptdarstellerin Frances McDormand (60) und Nebendarsteller Sam Rockwell (49) duften sich über den britischen Filmpreis freuen.
